I totally disagree with the whole thing. I'm not happy with other classes being included, and I am definitely  not thrilled with having to drive to Mission Viejo - a place I never spent time in during my school years - for 4 hours.  It it was a country club atmosphere this committee was looking for, there is a perfectly good country club up in Buena Park.  It's my opinion, and I am entitled to it.

Managed to finally get my ducks in something resembling a row. So got my tickets to attend. Yippy!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have worked long and hard to bring this special graduation celebration to its fruition.  I can only imagine the difficulty involved in finding venues that meet your criteria including time frame and budget.  I was not able to attend the  45th but I know my wife and I had a great time at the 40th (even though no one ended up in the pool) and I am very much looking forward to our 50th reunion.  I know there will be people coming from many other states and quite possibly from out of the country to attend and we are all looking to have a great time with old friends.   So thanks to the Reunion Committee for your perseverance, your caring for sending all of us emails to keep us informed, and your willingness to take on such a large and difficult task.  It is greatly appreciated.

A big "thank you" to the reunion committee for their dedication and hard work!

I will be bringing my sister, Pam, Cass of '70, with me. She knew lots of our '69

classmates in that she was involved with the Music Dept., Theater Arts Dept.,

and G.A.A.

Thank you committee for putting this together. I can't believe that someone is complaining about driving for 4 hours! My travel time adds up to days! See you all soon. Sandy Ramsey

Our 1968 reunion committee was so gracious and professional, and just like your committee, they opened it to the other classes from Savanna. There were several classmates that came from other classes at my table last year. I loved seeing and visiting with them. I also attended the 1970 40th reunion with my sister and we had so much fun. Gloria’s classmates are amazing. At this stage of our life journey, it’s just nice seeing our high school friends again. I’ve attended my husband’s reunions 10,20,30,40,45 and recently his 50th. Many of the friendships we have are a direct result of these reunions. This committee is working so hard to make this event a success. It takes a great deal of teamwork, commitment, communication and effort to coordinate the reunion. I truly commend the 1969 reunion committee for all their hard work and caring attitudes. I’m extremely grateful for all my high school friends.

Right on John White!  I was on the fence about going to the 1969 Savanna Reunion because I was afraid some people would not want to include other years. My sister, Gwen, sent me the Message Center comments regarding the reunion. After reading the positive notes everyone sent... I wanted to go. It was very inspiring to me.  It  made me eager to join in the celebration of seeing the special people of 1969.  I am a 1970 graduate from Savanna. Thank you for including all years. It will be a fun evening.

The response to my comment was not intended for some to get upset!  When I said I hope not! Was in reference to other schoolmates from other schools that used to crash our events as in (football) games, etc, 🀣 Linda, yes my sister did attend with me, we both had lost our husbands at that time. To be with her on a get away was great!  This year if I can I’ve already bought three tickets so my son and daughter-in-law, whom are bringing me can help with my care (health). I think that Becky with so many family members from Savanna doesn’t want anyone to rain on her event!! Just guessing!  πŸ˜….  I hope to see others as in my brothers, sisters classes, didn’t know many.  Let’s just push these petty (my opinion) things aside and focus on how great it’s going to be‼️  Thanks to the commitee for all that they do. πŸ’œπŸ‘.

Are these good for admission?  See you all in 3 weeks!

Mike, I'm thinking those might have been an out of class pass but don't work for this event.  Bring 'em though and the bartender may give you a drink, gratis. Cool that you've kept them.  I'm looking forward to seeing you and so many of our classmates.

Mike Evans, only if you can get the Beach Boys to come play for us. Looking forward to seeing you!

Tim Maxon are all others inquiring come comfortable. It’s definately not formal. We’ll be on a grassy area on a hot summer night so dress California Casual. Nice but not too nice 😁. I’m guessing summer dresses or pants for girls. Last reunion many guys wore nice shorts and sports shirts.

Couple weeks away!  See you then ☺️

Ditto! on all appreciation comments for the 50th Year Reunion Committee! I had the pleasure of working on the 40th reunion committee and WOW, it is much more work than anyone can know. Congrats and a huge Thank You to all of our committee members for great job so far!!

The committee is doing an outstanding job.  Thank you for all your hard work and I appreciate it very much. I am looking forward to the evening.  Speaking of the evening, does the committee have a weather god/goddess that is in charge of the weather?  Any chance in ordering up your run-of-the-mill Arizona type evening so it is not too cold.  I would hate to have to bring and wear a jacket.  I'm sure there somewhere around the house, probably still in boxes. Just requesting.

I'm not being anti-social, I'm just busy.

I hope all and sundry have a wonderful time at the reunion. I won't be attending, but send my # hashmarks and twitters.

I won't be able to attend the reunion, as I am co-producing a conference on longevity (science, economics, philosophy and geo-political implications of longevity and aging populations) with one of my clients that weekend. It's turned into a much bigger deal (and a whole lot more work) than it was when we started talking about it 3-4 years ago.

I'm guessing, the Reunion 50 organizers can relate! Mazel Tov to the ones who get it done!

If you are going, say hi to the gang for me. See you for our 60th, 70th, ... whatever.

Best - Bear

I think everyone will have a good time. We have so many friends from school, why not welcome them. Sorry some are unhappy. We live all over. One night of a lifetime. We may not have this opportunity again. Some will be gone before our next gathering. I just read that Debby Haddock passed away.
Life is too short. Enjoy every moment we have left!

I'm busy making nametags for all registered reunion attendees. I've heard a few of you plan to sign up the evening of the event. For you I'll have blanks to write on, but would'nt you rather have one of these?  If so, register now and I'll be updating nametags through the end of this week.  Everyone's picture is so cute!

I was absent for photos, never made it up, therefore not in the senior yearbook. You'll have to go to the junior yearbook.
