I was looking through this website a couple of days ago and was saddened to see that Gay Geiser-Sandoval had passed away. Though I didn’t travel in the same circles as Gay at Savanna, we spent many classes together in elementary school. She was always the nicest person and I was glad to talk with her at our 40th HS reunion. There was no mention of when she passed so I thought I would post that information. However, that proved to be a more daunting task than I thought. I finally was able to find a short blog that someone had written and who had attended the celebration of her life. According to the blog, the celebration was held on Saturday, May 9, 2015. The writer, pen name Pua, told a wonderful story about Gay. In the blog is a short bio of what made Gay a great person, one that touched the lives of others in a good way. It’s well worth looking at.
