I can remember Clyde coming over to the house. He was such a big guy and I always felt so protected by him. Clyde used to go with my mom and myself to the laundry matt on Friday nights (nextdoor to Colima Market). He would stay with me though the whole ordeal and when it was over, and mom was done shopping at Colima market, we would load up the car and go home. One night the police came by the laundry matt and were harrassing Clyde... My mom came in just in time, and I thought she was going to kick the cops ask... she said. you touch one hair on that kids head and you will have to deal with "me"... OMG... I never saw my mom so cool. Clyde brought out the "cool" in everyone. I remember asking Clyde why I don't have boyfriends and he told me "Cathy, it's because you are the type of girl a guy marries". I never forgot that! Please remember our late classmate Clyde Holiday in your prayers. Thanks

I can't believe I forgot to mention that Clyde passed in Viet Nam...his name can be seen on the WALL at Arlington National Cemetary or when your community puts the wall up for honoring them.  I went to the wall and was so sadly stricken when I saw his name there.  We honor you Clyde and thank you for our Freedom.
