Alison Holt....thanks for giving Nancy Piest my message and we don't have a place on our register for 'guests' but I'll add her to my list of those that have confirmed but didn't register.  Looking forward to seeing her!  Mike Roberts, our reunion is the 13th, not the 6th, so maybe you'll still come afterall.  Sorry Verla that you can't make it.  I'm sorta retired.....left the 'REAL' world 7 yrs ago but work at Costco Demo's parttime for something to do.   Looks like we have somewhere in the high 50's of those coming to this reunion.  Whoever comes, it'll be fun!  Large or smaller group.  If any of you have friends from SHS that want to come please extend the invite!  Remember to let them know it's $20.

I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone at the 45th reunion.  We had a blast at the last Original Mike's reunion and this one will be even better.  Classic Rock 'n Roll music by one of our own, Dennis Eiche; crazy dancing, free food, great friends sharing great stories, laughter, smiles and hugs throughout the evening ~ it doesn't get any better than that!

Chris, where do you go on this site to see exactly who is attending? Peggy Cooper and Birdie Howerton are interested in attending and asked me who is coming from the class of 68.. They would like to be guests at our reunion too. Randy and I are bringing Peggy Fowler, who as you know was the Roller Derby Rebel.

If you go to the Classmate Profile page you will see the red box at the very top.  They have a special designation for classmates attending the  45th reunion.  It gives their names but does not indicate the name of any guests.  So even though, as of this morning, we see 38 have registered, there are more coming due to the added guest count.

To all that I "cried" to about not being able to get on this site - I finally got it all fixed and can now see everything!  YAY!

Thanks to Chris for putting the reunion together - it was great to see everyone.  Thankfully, Alison doesn't mind singing into a microphone - me?  I'm allergic to them and break out whenever I'm near one!!!

Can't wait for the 50th - and am offering to help in any small way that I can!

To EVERYONE that came to the 45th Reunion I want to say THANKS for making this such an AWESOME event!    There has been talk from time to time about making the reunion a Multi-Class, but we have such a tight group that we fill it ourselves.  Of course other classes are always welcome to come as guests.  I tried to give a reflective headcount and came up with 68.  Nice crowd.  Dennis and his band were so AWESOME too.  Having live music is the best way to keep the vibe going all evening.  For all the committee girls that worked this, you are the BEST!  And WE have become even closer with each event we plan together.  There's a new found 'brotherhood' of Rebels that has emerged and I think we all feel it.  For those of you that traveled far to get here we appreciate your dedication and thank you for not wanting to miss it.

As for Original Mikes...WOW, this place has soooo much atmosphere and the food was great~.  This is our 3rd event here and they are always accommadating.  Wish the HEAT and HUMIDITY could have been turned down a notch, but I wouldn't have changed a thing.  Keeping the price down to almost nothing was especially nice to be able to offer out.  Casual surroundings are the way to go :)  Hope you all traveled safely back home.  Looking forward to our 50th!  What shall we do next???????   We're so together now, I bet we have a bigger turnout then.

Kathy, thanks for the pictures.  I have many, many more on my FB page, feel free to go grab some to make a bigger collage.  LOVE YOU ALL...and don't forget the Annual El Torito Happy Hour is coming up on Oct 3rd.  It's a BIG gathering of a span of 10 yrs of alum.  Hope to see many of you there~~~!!!

I don't think I'd want a multi-year class reunion.  My sister went to the one on the 20th, at the Holiday Inn, and I guess it spanned years 66-70.

I like the fact that we have one every 5 years (or when something significant comes up, like us all turning 60!).

I know everyone likes the casualness at Original Mikes, but I think I'd like something a little more dressy for the 50th, but that's just me!

Hello, This is Laura Nichols (Sturtevant) I am posting a prayer request for Geraldeen O'Hern (Wedell) Class of '69. She is in the hospital and she is need of our prayer's. Dr.s say's her kidney's and liver are not functioning good enough to get the toxins out of her body...She needs a miracle, and I thought perhaps the Class of '69 could send up prayer's for that miracle. Her family needs prayer's also.

Father God, I come before Your Throne of Mercy, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in faith believing, asking for Your Sovereign Arm to reach out to Geraldeen and cause her kidneys and liver to function as You created them to do.  Cleanse her body of any toxins, infections, and anything foreign that does not belong.  We draw a line, keeping the enemy at bay, declaring 'thus far and no further'.  Father, I thank you for Geraldeen's complete and whole healing of her body; for You know the plans that You have for her. We stand on your Word, that no weapon formed against Geraldeen and her family will prosper.  Give the doctors wisdom and knowledge.
