Gary Laukkanen

Since High School, I did go to 1 year of Collage but wanted to go to work. In 1974 I went to work for Hughes Aircraft in Fullerton. Ended up Retiring with them in 2006. Our division of Hughes Aircraft was sold to Raytheon in 1997. So my last 10 years were with Raytheon.

While my 2 daughters were young we would go to Mexico a lot with a RV. Had a lot of good times there from 1980 to 2000. In 1994 I went to Brazil for the first time. After spending 2 weeks there I knew it was a place that I was going to spend a lot of time.

I enjoyed traveling and buying real estate. So after years of travel I ended up in Brazil buying real estate here. I spend about 3 months in the U.S. Seeing Family and Friends.

I have many good memories, but I have one regret I will share. That I did not take the time for Sports. Baseball, Football, Track and Field, and Swimming. That was really was the time to do it.
