Sandra Caldwell Ortega and I married in 1975 and moved from Orange County to Hawaii in 1976 to pursue art and surfing. Moved to Arizona in 1980 and went into shopping center development and commercial real estate brokerage. Represented Clothestime in it's expansion in the US as well as numerous other retailers in the US.
Sandra and I have been married for 39 years in August and it has been quite a ride. She is the love of my life and we are getting even more closely. We partner in everything we do. I spend half my time in ministry with Luis Palau along with life coaching several people in the film industry and other creative fields.
Born a Jew, raised a Catholic, walked in New Age and now Born Again. It has been quite a journey. I continue to develop real estate and other business opportunities. We spend the summers at our mountain home and actually spent quite a bit of time in Newport Beach at my brothers home. He sold last year as he has been in Moscow, Russia for 10 years. John was the founder of Clothestime and we had a great run with that company. He has a magazine and a clothing company in Russia.
Sandra and I continue to be creative in all we do, whether it is developing a shopping center, other business or our art, we are both artist in all that we do. Discovered that being an artist is a state of mind.
I love to cook and are looking at developing restaurant concepts within properties that we own. Love to BBQ as well as cook seafood. We have spent more time being around the water (Cabo San Lucas, Central America, Carribean, Alaska) fishing. I bring lots of fish home in these excursions.
I discovered my life's purpose and calling and have been content since then. Love life, love people....know the meaning of Love, and who the author of finisher of my faith is.
I read voraciously.....this years goal is a 100 books and I love to learn and have commited to being a life long learner.
