Just retired after 25 years at the national laboratory in Albuquerque, Mr. Hoffman and Joe Manson helped me start as a student what would become my career many moons ago. Started as a draftsman and it progressed into a career as a mechanical designer who worked on projects from fusion, underground testing in Nevada, rocket sled testing, and a nuclear reactor material testing. I can still remember Mr. Hoffman wearing his bow tie in the initial drafting class at Savanna that started my career. Joe Manson, a neighbor and special friend, helped me on the side with some drafting class at Savanna. It has all worked out very well!
