Comments:
I was married 1970; my husband died in a car accident in 1979. I moved back home with my parents, so I could be home with my children. I started working again in 1992 as the director of the hot lunch program at a private Christian school. I have worked varies jobs since then; was laid off December 2006, took a temp position, then was laid off February 2008--have been unemployed since. Amongst all this, I spend a large portion of my time in service to my church, Melodyland CC, (Healing Word, name change since 2000). I have been a member since 1967. I am a member of the Praise and Worship Team, a Life Group Leader and work with the children as a teacher and production director. In 1976, my husband and I took a 6 week road-trip across the states, which included a time at Niagara Falls and a short time in Canada, in all we visited 39 states. Since 2000 I have been able to travel to Mexico, South Africa (mission trip) and Israel. I have lived a blessed life with all its twist and turns. My greatest joys are my grandchildren, sons and wives, family, friends, serving in the church; most importantly the love of my Father God, the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the day to day guidance of the Holy Spirit.
