I everyone and thank you for all of your hard work, unbelievable huh 50 yrs.!!  I purchased my ticket and with my health and everything goin on I may not make it. If I could ask the committee to let someone have my ticket if I don’t make it, I know you guys know the ones that can’t and would really like to be there.  This is very exciting to me and can’t wait to see everyone, very sadden by the list of some schoolmates that won’t be there in person but will be in our hearts.!!!  Bless all of you dear friends!,hope to see you there.

I’m sorry to hear of your health issues but we are all praying that you will have a turnaround and be able to attend the reunion and celebrate with all of us. The 50th is a pretty huge milestone! Well, I made the move to Arizona and I am very confident that my tickets to the class reunion also made the move but, I cannot find them.  I am pretty sure the tickets are not lost and they know very well where they are but, I do not know where they are. 

Can anyone give me a hint on how would I go about trying to get duplicate tickets for the reunion or am I on a master checkoff list that someone will have to verify that I did purchase the tickets, as I arrive at the reunion event.

Any help would be appreciated because I definitely would not like to pay $190.00 again.

Yes the invite is out there but as in years past we don’t get more than 10 or less. A few from 68 and a couple from 70 so it’s no biggie. And if someone was close friends with the football players or a brother/sister of someone and wants to pay, let them party. But it won’t be many. I think I only know of 2 right now.

And that's the one thing I didn't want to do.  I did not go to school, I did not graduate with people from other classes.  There are plenty of "reunions" that include all the classes.  I don't see WHY our 50th had to include anyone that did not graduate with us.

I'm going to have to think about whether or not I really want to attend or not, now.

It’s always been open. We’re not sharing a reunion with another class but our class has had an open invitation to many others. Last year a Veda went to ‘68 and was the only one from our class there. But she had people she looked forward to seeing.  Becky do what your heart tells you to do but a small handful from other classes shouldn’t ruin a good time for you. It’s gonna be fun no matter who we know or don’t know. 

One month away , we’re almost there ❣️

I'm just not looking forward to it, any longer.  I saw the invitation for the reunion from last year - held in Buena Park, btw.  I spoke with some of my sisters friends from the 68, and they weren't that thrilled about sharing their 50th reunion with other classes.

Ester, didn't your sister come to our 40th? It was soooo great to see and talk with her. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff, right? As long as outside our class year folks don't come to crash the party and buy a ticket, I assume it would be good for the reunion budget. I hope you are doing well! I have great memories of sleepovers at your house! :-)

I had friends in both earlier and later graduating classes.  I wouldn’t think their presence would  affect our event at all.  It would be great to see old friends again.  If we are lucky enough to have lived this long we should celebrate that fact with friends regardless of year of graduation.

     I am so happy to be reading all of these positive responses!  My mom always said, “ Sharon, you can never have too many friends”  So looking forward to this wonderful evening in beautiful SO CAL ! We have 149 classmates living in California, let’s get them all to join us. Grateful for those that are driving, taking trains and airplanes. Speaks volumes!
