Sandy,

Simply put, I teach people how to use computers. That's about as simply as I can put it. But, I have a great job!!!!!! I retired from sales 10 years ago and got into this almost by accident because retirement was boring. I just went ziplining over the rainforest here and am constantly amazed at the world we live in. Tomorrow night I will be in India yet again. Amazing world!!!!

Andy, you're just having too much fun at work! lol! I got laid off from a job like that. Oh well, more time to concentrate on the grandkids at home. Went to AZ to see my daughter when Indigo was born. She is gorgeous of course! I just posted her picture. She changes every day. I'm hoping they'll be able to come out for Christmas. Miss them terribly! Looking forward to our "60th" birthday party, although as long as I don't look in the mirror, I don't feel 60! Take care, hope everyone is doing great... kathie

Kathy....I can so relate to that!  I do not like mirrors... I dont have time for them either... I am doing too much living to worry about all that.  My body feels like it is still 18, and I am still looking at life through the eyes of a child.  I probably always will.   I have to admit though....I could not do Andy's job... Airports scare the beeJesus outa me...  I have been 4 wheeling for 3 days...camping out in a tent at night...cooking over an open fire...OMG  that is the life for me...I was meant to be a gypsy, tramp, and thief...

So is anything happening for Andy's Birthday.  Andy, I will bring you something to take on your trips instead of asking you to bring me something. (LOL)  Chris, I am game for the 60th Birthday thing.  Let me know where, when and how I can help.

Alison...as soon as we nail down some details I'll get with you.  We want to keep it easy with no organizing or money collecting....sort of a Happy Hour gathering.  I'm looking into times and details for a BBQ at the Beach at a Fire Pit.  Everyone could byob and food and we could go at DUSK and watch the sunset.  Even caravan to some other place when they kick us out.  I think curfew at H Bch or Bolsa is probably 10.  Is that desirable to you all?   Other than that I'm picturing this big Mexican Resturant in Orange...Moreno's....it has a huge front patio/courtyard that we could come, take up a section and everyone is on their own for ordering food, etc.

Any other EASY ideas?  This is NOT a reunion .... just a good excuse to celebrate our 60th with our class.  Therefore....no boat cruises or anything that requires reservations.  Throw out your ideas, folks.

Andy...It's your birthday TODAY buddy.  Hope Paris is treating you well :):):)  See you when you recoup from your Knee Surgery.  Hope all goes well!!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  Let's all concentrate on the things we're Grateful for.

Chris

Welcome aboard Rick Fox... I remember you too... Mostly from Brookhurst.  I see you still have all that beautiful curly hair...lucky you, eh?  Well, great seeing your family and gee you haven't moved too far, eh?  Have a great Christmas and new year, and keep us posted on all your up to.  Do you still see any of the fellow classmates?

Hey Andy...I see on my calendar that tomorrow you are scheduled for your surgery.  Still going through with it?  If so, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you for a successful surgery and an easy recovery.  God bless ya brother and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Well, only 2 days left till all his hokus pokus is ova...  then it is on to really big things..like paying off the bills from Christmas. hee hee

Andy should have had his surgery on his knee by now.  We are all praying for you and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Randy Hall is working on putting together a motorcycle that can take the speed at Bonneville.

Dave Stowe enjoyed every minute at the surprise party.  So many wonderful people were there to share in his joy, and so many good thoughts from those that could not be there for him.  He should soon have his computer up and running and can chime in at any time.. hint hint..

I also wanted to thank Darryl for the fun times that we were able to share with him this year.

Thank you Chris Cummings Noel for being you and keeping everyones path lite up..you are the light worker.

But mostly I just want to say Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.  I love you all.  Cathy

Alright Cathy! Here I am, wish I was as upbeat as you! That would be a good thing... I'm hanging in here. My Christmas/New Years Eve was wonderful with the little ones, it's the adults that made it so sad. Thank God for kids and grandkids! I'd be so lost without them and my dear friends like you and several others. Hope all is well with everyone. I'm still smiling so there's still hope... I got an email from an agency I used to work with, so maybe 2011 will turn things around. Fingers crossed! Take care, love you all, kathie

Tonight Loren Thornton's father passed away peacefully.  Loren was here from UTAH taking care of his dad  in Laguna Niguel, and I was there with him and his sister during this transition.  Lots of tears , talks, prayers and plans happening these past 5 days.  He's now with his wife, Marie, that he's been wanting to join and mentioned it more so lately.  God Bless You and take you into his arms.  Your pain is over, you are now forever young.  It was a pleasure knowing you!
