OMG... Thanks Alison and Sandra....you all are so awesome to keep coming back to our little family here on sav69.. Thank you so much.  Chris... you are unbelieveable... the fact that you were there to help Loren to help his father through the last days of his journey, and to help him make the transition to "home" where life is eternal.  They say that our life here, as compared to our life in heaven, is like being on vacation... where as it seems like forever here, it is like 2 weeks in comparison to the eternal life we have in Heaven.  Does that make sense?  It is helpful if you watch the movie "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams..  But I will bet that Loren's father is already tending to his garden up there in heaven and taking care of what he and Marie started so long ago.  Thank you Loren for being the great son that you are.

I talked to Dave Stowe and he sounds wonderful.  He's been through some health issues, but is determined to get better and he does. 

Good luck Kathi on your job hunting.  I decided that since I was too freeking young to retire, because I don't have MediCare yet.... or Social Security I find that even after 30 years with the county, I am paying 705.00 a month for health insurance.  I was hoping the prez would find something to help us by now, but the costs just keep getting higher.  I have decided to leave this country and become a Mexican citizen and look for me in the San Diego area as I will be slipping through the border to the U.S. for free medical care.  How bout it?  You think you could meet me at like McDonalds and sneek me over the border?  Lets talk.... hee hee.  Love you guys

It gives you insight into who's doing some hiring, even if you don't use their site.  I tried, but my resume didn't go through, however, luckily they posted the name of the company and I was able to call them and just shoot my resume over to the vice president of the company.  E-Gods! as luck would have it......

Anyways.... to all you football frekazoids out there.... It's almost SUPERBOWL!

You're a good man Loren.  @Ester... how are things going with your hubby?  I hope he is doing better.  Heard Sandy S. is back in town.  What are you doing and why aren't we all doing lunch or something?  Talked to Walthal the other day and Gary L was out visiting him...got to say hi to him too.  Talked to Andy, and well he is back in the saddle again...flying everywhere and doing his thing...So happy to hear that he healed up so nicely.  All the prayers worked for him, Thank God..  I talk to our Chris often and don't know what I would do without her.  Isn't she just our brightest star... Thank you Chris for being you!  Got a text from Debbie Limback..she was on her way to Arizona to help her sister..she is still working at the school and enjoying life.  Her youngest is getting married in June so she is very busy with all the details of that event.  Talked to Joy T. and well she is back from location and happy to be home again.  Oh yes, and Randy Hall is thinking about retiring.   I put in an application for a position at our local hospital so I could get my ask back to work, but well.... they hired from within...figures!  Welp, nothing new here..Hope your all enjoying life and doing fun things. was over at my mom's today and found - of all things - a student directory, circa 1968-69! It had the names, addresses and phone numbers for classes of 69, 70 and 71! It was created by class of 1971... What a trip... I can't believe I found it. My mother throws/keeps the damndest things! Had to take her to the doctor and she told me how to get on the 91 fwy. Blew me away! Told her that after 45 yrs of driving and growing up in the neighborhood she STILL lives in (since 2nd grade) I think I could probably find it... haven't moved it since they built it back in the day!

Well I just finished watching the Academy Awards....I enjoyed it but this year it seemed to have lost some of it's LUSTER.  Happy with the winners, tho.  Yes, Sandee Szijarto was in town and we hooked up Wed after her Real Estate Conference in Anaheim.  It was great spending time with her and now she's on her way back to Colorado.  Tomorrow ( Monday ) I'm lunching with Kathy Goldsworthy and  Pam Markle.  They both took me out for my birthday back in June so now I'm resiprecating for both of theirs, even tho they were in NOV....but at least we're eeking it in.  Tuesday is GRANT HILLENS birthday!!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANT.  He's been in FREEZING weather in Idaho....below 12°....waaaaaaay to cold for THIS girl.  Talked with Dave on Thurs and may go pop in on him tomorrow after lunch.  Same , same going on for him.  CATHY SCAFANI....you've given me a new reason to SMILE and LAUGH....where have you been the last 40 yrs of my life, girl????   Always positive and ready to reach out to help someone.  Your words are always encouraging, I love ya!

Hi everyone.  We're having SPRING RAINS here in SoCal....still using the fireplace.  Such strange weather everywhere....especially in TAHOE...right Ester??? 

Yesterday Kathy Goldsworthy and I went and checked out an AWESOME venue for our HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY party.  We're looking a couple of dates....around July 16th or later July or early Aug.  This place is called Original Mikes.  AWESOME is all I can say.  YOu'd all LOVE, LOVE it!  HOpe we can rally up all the troups for this party.  Kathy will be putting out an official notice.

Saw Dave last week along with Cathy Scafani, Alison Holt, Chris Walthall and Andy Armstrong.  We had such a wonderful time and I thought Dave was gonna choke a few times with all the laughing he was doing....(just in jest, you know ).  Stayed til 7:00 then the 5 of us went to dinner together...comps of Chris W.  Thanks again CHris!

Gotta go now....funeral in Long Beach...so check your vacation schedules and look for available times to travel.  We'd LOVE to make this a MINI REUNION!!

Your right Cathy, I think everyone is on FB..Looking forward to coming down to see everyone at the 60's bash...lol....Need some laughter now and then..  My husband Bill has been put into hospice, things are not going well with his health, he's a fighter and I think the pain is more now than I can help him with..he needs stronger medication..Pray for our kids and family, loved ones they love their dad so much, our oldest son in England is coming to spend time with dad before his body slows down..I thank God for hospice for families..to us it's the best alterative for care.
